Having access to the latest information and a user-friendly way to receive documentation from Canada Gives staff are priorities that you’ve highlighted to us through our ongoing donor client feedback research. We understand that robust digital tools are a key feature offering of any forward-thinking charitable organization—and an expectation of dedicated donors like you.
On that note, we’re proud to introduce the new Canada Gives Client Portal.
The platform is designed to give you better oversight and insight into your giving with the goal of facilitating improved strategic planning and decision-making. The fully secure and encrypted portal will provide you with a user name and password to access a custom dashboard. Once there, you can view key information relating to your Canada Gives Foundation account.
You’ll be able to review the latest account activity and access copies of your tax receipts and grant letters to charities, as well as the Quarterly Foundation Reports uploaded by our staff. Probably the most exciting feature is the fully interactive search option, which allows you to explore every Canadian charity listed with the Canada Revenue Agency. Once you’ve selected your charity(s), you can simply click and send us your grant requests directly from the portal.
You’ll also be able to make donations at the click of a button—such as when making donations of cash, securities or by credit card—using fillable PDF forms at your fingertips.
