Making Donations
Once you set up an account at Canada Gives, you can make additional donations at any time and receive additional tax receipts. If you establish a Personal or Family Foundation Account, you can also receive third-party donations from family and friends, your company, etc.

Third-Party Donations
Your Canada Gives Account can include donations from friends, family, businesses etc. The donation forms include a separate section for third-party donors. The tax receipt will be issued to the specific donor, but the funds will be added to your Account, to be included in the annual grants to the charities of your choice.

Tracking for Tax Purposes
A tax receipt for each donation will be issued promptly upon receipt of cheque, money order or securities.
Since all of your receipts are tracked on your consolidated report, we can easily replace one that is missing when you file your annual tax return
