A Canada Gives account enables you to focus your time and resources on your giving, not administration.

At the end of each year we calculate the amount of funds available for you to distribute to charities. You select how much to give away, which charities you wish donate to and how much they will receive.

All grants from your account are accompanied by a letter and can be made with full disclosure or complete discretion - it's your preference. Canada Gives also provides you with due-diligence support to help you identify prospective recipients and ensure that these are qualified donees in good standing with CRA.
